Scattered Spring Tulips

Spring has come to Denver. We have a high of 65 degrees with scattered tulips in the forecast.

UPDATE: It snowed the next day. And again later in the week. As pretty much everyone knows, March is Denver's snowiest month followed by ... April. In fact, Denver is the only major U.S. city (the key here is "major") that averages measurable snow nine months out of the year (September through May). We also average the most snowfall during the year (again, between major U.S. cities, because, obviously, if you go to one of Colorado's mountain towns or ski areas, they could beat Denver's annual average in just a weekend. For example, the Wolf Creek ski area had over 90 inches (yes, 90) in a 72-hour period). However, Denver has as many sunny days as San Diego. Go figure.
